New REET exam date out: 62000 teacher vacancies to be filled and other Rajasthan education plans

The new REET exam date has been announced after the paper was cancelled earlier. Recruitment will be carried out for 62,000 teacher vacancies. CM Ashok Gehlot also announced other education and job plans in the state in his budget speech.
Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot on Wednesday said that the Rajasthan Eligibility Examination for Teacher (REET) examination would be conducted in July for the recruitment in a total of 62,000 teacher vacancies. The new REET exam dates are July 23 and 24.
The REET 2021 exam was cancelled due to a paper leak controversy. Nevertheless, the Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education will be conducting the exam again.
On the other hand, the candidates are sitting on a dharna at Shaheed Memorial Square in Jaipur against the cancellation of REET Level Two examination. The Rajasthan Unemployed Federation has also organized a gherao yesterday.
Gehlot, in his budget speech, had a few announcements to make regarding the education sector.
The CM said that 36 women universities would be opened in 19 districts of Rajasthan.
A total of 3,820 schools, including many English schools, till Class 12 would be opened. New medical colleges would be opened too.
An educational hub will be opened in Jaipur as well.
