Alfred Molina is not shedding his octopus persona anytime soon.
The British actor, who played Doctor Octopus in "Spider-Man: No Way Home" has been revealed as the voice of giant Pacific octopus Marcellus in Netflix's upcoming adaptation of Shelby Van Pelt’s best-selling novel "Remarkably Bright Creatures."
Molina will be joining Sally Field and Lewis Pullman, among others, in the Olivia Newman-directed film, slated to release May 8 on Netflix.
The book, which came out in 2022, charmed readers with the story of a widow who finds joy again when she "forms an unlikely bond" with a giant Pacific octopus at her aquarium night job and "a wayward young man who comes to town in search of family."
"Together, they will uncover a mystery that will lead them to a life-changing discovery and restore their sense of wonder," the film's synopsis says.
