
Nearly 15 crore youth out of formal education system in India: Dharmendra Pradhan

Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has stated that around 15 crore of the youth in the country are out of the formal education system.
Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan announced on Thursday that at least 15 crore children and youths are out of the country's formal education system, and roughly about 25 crore population is below the primary definition of literacy. He was addressing a session on "Job creation and entrepreneurship" organised by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) during its annual meeting, where he talked about how there is a need to bring back all the students to the formal education system.
