It was inaugurated by Colonel S.K Nair. Over 500 NCC cadets from various institutions in Alappuzha, Kollam, and Pathanamthitta are participating in the camp. They will be given instructions in weapons training, drills, physical fitness training, road safety and cleanliness awareness and so on.
Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Principal C.H. Dineshan presided. Lt. Colonel Jithesh Kumar, NCC Officers Gopakumar, Sibi Mathai, Alex Varghese Mavelikara, T.J. Krishnakumar and others attended the inaugural function.
