
NCB on lookout for TV actor, foreign national linked to Ajaz Khan drug bust

NCB raided the apartment of a television actor in Mumbai's Lokhandwala on Friday night in connection with a drug case. The actor and his friend, a foreign national, are on the run.
The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) is on the lookout for a television actor and his female accomplice in connection with a drug case. The duo has been on the run since a drug seizure at the actor's residence. On Friday night, NCB officials conducted a raid at an apartment in Mumbai's Lokhandwala area. The apartment belongs to a television actor whose name came up during the interrogation of arrested actor Ajaz Khan. Sources said the NCB seized an intermediate quantity of various drugs from the apartment but the accused television actor and his partner, who is a foreign national, managed to flee.
A prominent seer, Pranavananda Swamiji, alleged that mutts backing Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar to take over the top post were denied any allocation in the state budget presented by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. He reiterated his support for Shivakumar to take over as the chief minister.

According to the police, 19-year-old Sachin Dharmendrabhai Chaudhary, who works as a labourer, had borrowed the money before expressing his inability to repay it immediately, police said. He was allegedly threatened with his life over the delay in repayment. Fearing for his life, Sachin immediately alerted the police.
