
National Investigation Agency to probe attack on TMC minister Jakir Hossain

The blast occurred when Jakir Hossain, Trinamool Congress MLA and the minister of state for labour, was waiting to board a train to Kolkata at the Nimtita railway station on February 17.
The National Investigation Agency will probe the blast in Murshidabad's Nimtita Railway Station in which West Bengal minister Jakir Hossain and over 20 others were injured, MHA sources told India Today. The blast occurred when Hossain, Trinamool Congress MLA and the minister of state for labour, was going to board a train to Kolkata at the Nimtita railway station on February 17. Hossain suffered serious injuries on his legs and lower abdominal portion. Two other persons who were with the minister were also injured in the attack.More Related News
