Naruvi Hospitals and The Hindu launch 'Healthy India, Happy India' initiative promoting health and wellness nationwide.
Aimed at promoting health and wellness nationwide, Naruvi Hospitals, in collaboration with The Hindu, is set to launch the ‘Healthy India, Happy India’ initiative on December 7.
The event, which will take place at Naruvi Hospitals in Vellore, marks the beginning of a public interest campaign aimed at fostering a culture of health, happiness, and well-being. The initiative seeks to inspire individuals and communities to prioritise their health, contributing to a brighter and healthier future for India.
The event will be attended by several distinguished figures from Tamil Nadu. Deputy Chief Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin, the chief guest, will inaugurate the campaign and deliver the keynote address.
Other prominent guests include Water Resources Minister Duraimurugan, Minister for Handlooms and Textiles R. Gandhi and Minister for Health and Family Welfare Ma. Subramanian.
Special addresses will be given by G.V. Sampath, Founder and Chairman of Naruvi Hospitals; L.V. Navaneeth, CEO of The Hindu Group; and N. Ram, Director of THG Publishing Pvt Ltd.
The inaugural event, set to begin at 10.30 a.m., will focus on the importance of health and wellness as essential pillars of national strength. It will officially launch the initiative, which aims to educate and inspire people to adopt healthier lifestyles and create a more health-conscious society.
Mr. Sampath, expressed his enthusiasm for the partnership with The Hindu, explaining the hospital’s long- standing emphasis on “health over disease” as a guiding principle. He noted that while the proverb “prevention is better than cure” was widely recognised, it was not always put into practice.
