Nail artist uses real fish to do aquarium manicure. Viral video leaves Internet angry

In a bid to come up with something new, a nail artist used a live fish in one of her nail art tutorial videos on Instagram. The video has been shared on the official handle of Nail Sunny, a nail salon. The video has sparked outrage online. In the video which has now gone viral, a nail artist can be seen inserting a live fish in a mini aquarium created in an acrylic nail. The tutorial video begins with the artist prepping the nail with aqua blue and silver glitter polish. The artist then scoops out a small fish from the water tank and inserts it in the small acrylic aquarium created on the nail. It appears that the fish was inserted inside the acrylic nail only as an example because at the end of the video it was put back in the tank. The caption mentioned that no animals were hurt during the making of this video. “The aquarium. No fish were harmed #tutorialnailsunny (sic),” the video caption read.
