Nagaland civilian killings: Rajya Sabha MP KG Kenye to raise matter in Parliament 

A day after 14 people were killed during a security operation in Nagaland's Mon district, Rajya Sabha MP from the state, KG Kenye, says he will raise the issue in Parliament.

A day after 14 people - one soldier and 13 civilians, were killed during a security operation in Nagaland's Mon district, Rajya Sabha MP from the state, KG Kenye, said he will raise the issue in Parliament on Monday. Anguished over an unfortunate incident in Nagaland’s Oting, Mon. I express my deepest condolences to the families of those who have lost their lives. A high-level SIT constituted by the State govt will thoroughly probe this incident to ensure justice to the bereaved families.

Speaking to India Today, the MP said, “It is shocking, it is highly condemnable, I cannot go into the details of it without ascertaining the facts”. He said he would seek permission from the chairman during the zero hour in Parliament to raise the issue.
