Naga Chaitanya to make his OTT debut with Amazon Prime Video's 1st Telugu series Dhootha

Naga Chaitanya is all set to mark his digital debut with Amazon Prime Video's 1st Telugu original titled Dhootha. The series is directed by Vikram K Kumar.
Naga Chaitanya, who has worked in several Telugu films, is geared for his digital debut. The actor will mark his OTT debut with Amazon Prime Video's first Telugu original, Dhootha, which is a supernatural horror thriller. Directed by Vikram K Kumar, the series also features Parvathy Thiruvothu, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Prachi Desai, Tharun Bhascker Dhaassyam in pivotal roles.
Amazon Prime Video shared the first look of Naga Chaitanya's debut web series Dhootha. "#DhoothaOnPrime: In this supernatural horror, possessed inanimate objects wreak havoc on the lives of people who commit deadly sins. #PrimeVideoPresentsIndia #SeeWhereItTakesYou (sic)," read the caption.

During the event, when asked why he opted for OTT, Naga Chaitanya said, "As actor, we always crave for our work to get maximum exposure and on a platform like Prime Video we get that exposure. It's not pan-India but it's pan-world."
He further added, "I am guy who can't sit through even five minutes of horror. When Vikram told me it is supernatural horror thriller, I was thinking to myself 'I exactly know what that feeling is so let me translate that into Sagar in Dhootha'."
Naga Chaitanya was last seen in Bangarraju. He has collaborated with director Venkat Prabhu for his 22nd film, which will mark his his first Tamil film. This year, Chay will also make his debut in Bollywood with Aamir Khan-starrer Laal Singh Chaddha.
