Bengaluru residents geo-tagged a pothole on Google Maps to draw the attention of authorities towards the poor condition of roads.
Fed up by the poor condition of roads in the city, the residents of Bengaluru came up with a unique way to lodge their protest. The citizens geo-tagged a pothole on Google Maps, and in no time, it started getting reviews as well.
Pictures of ‘Abizer’s pothole’, with Google Maps showing its location in Bengaluru’s Bellandur, went viral on social media. The location was logged as a "historical landmark in Bengaluru, Karnataka".

“Top tier potholes, great location very close to many grocery stores and all the good schools,” read one of the reviews.
“Ever since its appearance, real estate is booming in the area, in case you are inconvenienced by the pothole. There is a conveniently located physiotherapist right opposite,” read another review.
