Mumbai: BMC warns of strict action against private hospitals that overcharge for Covid vaccines

The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation has warned of strict action if private hospitals in the city charge more than the rates stipulated by the central government for Covid vaccines.

After the central government on June 8 capped the prices that can be charged by private hospitals for Covid-19 vaccinations, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) on Friday warned of strict action against any private centre that violates the rule and overcharges in Mumbai. - . . - . pic.twitter.com/YJMwEAy3Ue The BMC has asked all citizens, housing complex officials and heads of industrial establishments to take note of the stipulated rates for the vaccines.
