The Uttar Pradesh police registered a case under the Gangster Act against jailed don-politician Mukhtar Ansari on Sunday. On Monday morning, he was taken out of Banda jail and shifted to Lucknow in an ambulance for a court hearing.
Mukhtar Ansari has once again expressed the possibility of a deadly attack. He said that pressure is being put not to testify against Brijesh Singh, who is lodged in Varanasi jail.

Meanwhile, the court has also rejected Mukhtar Ansari's plea to conduct hearings through video conferencing in all the cases.
The Uttar Pradesh police have registered a case under the Gangster Act against former BSP MLA Mukhtar Ansari and twelve of his associates.
