MP man flees with car from showroom on pretext of test drive

A man was arrested by the police for allegedly fleeing with a new Tata Harrier on the pretext of a test drive in the Sidhi district of Madhya Pradesh.
A man, posing as a prospective buyer reached a car showroom in the Sidhi district of Madhya Pradesh. However, things took a turn after the man sped off with a new Tata Harrier on the pretext of taking a test drive.
Talking about the matter, Sidhi SP Mukesh Srivastava said, 'A young man reached the agency to buy a vehicle but he fled with the car on the pretext of taking a test drive. The agency operators chased the man to a long distance but couldn't catch hold of him.
The incident was immediately reported to the police, who then announced a reward of Rs 10,000 for anyone who catches the accused.
According to the SP, it was only after four hours, the police were informed that a vehicle has been parked in an unclaimed condition in Khajuri Kothar, Kotwali police station. Soon after receiving the information, the police reached the spot and took the vehicle into its possession.
Along with this, the two accused who robbed the vehicle were also arrested.
