Ivory, it seems, is the colour of the moment! We saw an array of celebrities making heads turn in ethereal ivory ensembles during fashion designers Kunal Rawal and Arpita Mehta’s wedding celebrations. With the wedding season right at the doorstep, it is time you also started taking fashion notes. And, embracing ivory-hued outfits is certainly going to be one of the biggest wedding fashion trends this year. Especially, among bridesmaids!
For some inspiration, you can also turn to Mouni Roy’s wardrobe. The diva, on Tuesday, took to Instagram to share new pictures of herself clad in an elegant saree. Mouni is a self-confessed saree lover and doesn’t leave a chance to rock one. For her new photoshoot, she opted for an ivory number which was beautifully adorned with glitzy accents.
Take a look at the pictures:
The saree that Mouni wore is from the label Sawan Gandhi. It was accentuated with striking mukaish work and boasted of an appealing scalloped border. The dreamy six yards came with a sultry blouse that was heavily swathed in mirror and cut-dana work.
Mouni took the ethnic charm a notch higher as she rocked it with an elaborate neck choker. The diva, who has a strong penchant for makeup, nailed the glam game as well. She sported a dewy-finished look and let kohl-ed her eyes do the talking. A brick-red lipshade is what she chose to complete her ensemble with.
The saree that Mouni wore, let us tell you, is also available for purchase on the designer Sawan Gandhi’s website. It is priced at Rs 99,000.
Mouni’s close friend Aashka Goradia loved Mouni’s pictures in the ivory drape and took to the comments section to express the same.
