Moto G22 India launch today: Price, specifications and more

The Moto G22 is powered by a Mediatek Helio G37, it features a 6.6-inch LCD display, 5000mAh battery, quad-camera setup on the rear, and a lot more.

Motorola is all set to launch the Moto G22 in India today. The Moto G22 is aimed at budget buyers. The smartphone was previously launched in the European markets. The Moto G22 is powered by a Mediatek Helio G37, it features a 6.6-inch LCD display, 5000mAh battery, quad-camera setup on the rear, and a lot more. Motorola seems to have refreshed the design language with the Moto G22. The smartphone features an iPhone-like flat edge design. However, the edges look slightly curved and not as sharp as you would find in an iPhone. The rear panel is textured with the camera island protruding from the rear panel.

Moto G22: Expected price

Motorola has so far only confirmed the launch date of the smartphone but has not revealed the price of the smartphone yet. However, the phone was made official in the European markets, so we have a fair idea about how the smartphone will be priced in India. In Europe, the Moto G22 was launched at a price of 169.99, which roughly translates to Rs 14,999. But one can expect the phone to be priced lower than this in India.

Moto G22: Specifications

The Moto G22 features a 6.5-inch HD+ LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate and an aspect ratio of 20:9. The smartphone is powered by MediaTek Helio G37 SoC coupled with up to 4GB of RAM.The Moto G22 features a quad camera setup on the rear which includes a 50MP primary sensor, accompanied by an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, a macro lens, and a depth sensor. On the front, there is a 16-megapixel camera for selfies.

The Moto G22 packs a 5000mAh battery with 20W turbocharging support. The phone also features a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. There is a MicroSD card slot. The smartphone is available in blue and black sensors.
