Mom-to-be Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja will be hosting a baby shower for their close friends and family here in Mumbai, on July 17, 2022. The baby shower will be held at Sonam’s aunt Kavita’s house in Bandra. The family is very excited and has been prepping for the same. Sonam is ready to spend time under her family’s care in the last leg of her pregnancy. The actress is due in the next few months.

While reports had earlier spilled the beans on the possible guest list for the baby shower, IndiaToday.in has found some deets on mom-to-be. As per a source in the know, the actress will be donning an outfit by her favourite and go-to designer Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla. A custom-made outfit for Sonam that accentuates her glorious pregnancy moments is what the actress is aiming for. Just like her wedding, the actress will accentuate the look by sporting her mom’s jewellery. Apart from this, we had earlier reported that the special themed cake would be baked by their close pal, Pooja Dhingra’s Le15 Patisserie.

Earlier, it was reported that Sonam’s baby shower would be graced by her besties, Rhea Kapoor, Swara Bhaskar, Jacqueline Fernandez. Along with them, B-town actresses like Kareena Kapoor Khan, mom-to-be Alia Bhatt, Deepika Padukone, among others, will also be attending the baby shower. That’s not all. Sonam’s cousins, Arjun Kapoor, Janhvi Kapoor, Anshula Kapoor will also mark their presence at the joyous occasion.

Sonam announced her pregnancy earlier this year by sharing a picture of herself with Anand as she looks lovingly at each other. She wrote, “Four hands. To raise you the very best we can. Two hearts. That will beat in unison with yours, every step of the way. One family. Who will shower you with love and support. We can’t wait to welcome you. #everydayphenomenal #comingthisfall2022.”

Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja will be welcoming their first child together. The couple married each other in 2018 after dating for many years.
