A 16-year-old girl was allegedly gang-raped by seven in Haryana's Bhiwani city for the last six months. The accused are absconding while a case has been registered against them.
Bhiwani Police in Haryana has booked seven people accused of gang-raping a 16-year-old girl in the city. As per a complaint given by the girl's father, the accused have been booked under sections 376DA (Punishment for gang rape on a woman under sixteen years of age), 506 (Punishment for criminal intimidation) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and Section 6 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.More Related News

As per the Bill, those involved in unlawful conversions on the pretext of marriage will be punished with imprisonment of seven years and shall also be liable for a fine of Rs 1 lakh. Violations in respect of a minor, a person of unsound mind, a woman or a person belonging to the Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe will be punished with imprisonment of seven years and a fine of Rs 5 lakh.
