Meghan Markle in all-red outfit delivers first public speech in UK in 2 years

Meghan Markle looked resplendent in an all-red outfit as she delivered her first speech in the UK since stepping down as senior Royal member in 2020.

Meghan Markle delivered her first public speech in the UK since stepping down as a senior member of the Royal family along with her husband Prince Harry over two years ago.

Dressed in an all-red crisp ensemble, the Duchess of Sussex made a strong case for power dressing as she delivered the keynote address at the One Young World summit in Manchester.

“It is very nice to be back in the UK and it is very nice to be back with all of you at One Young World,” she said while starting her speech. Meghan, then, went on to speak about gender equality at the event. She also touched on her self-doubt as “the girl from Suits,” while attending the same summit in 2014.

Meghan played a pivotal role in seven seasons of the American show Suits, a legal drama.

As for the event, Meghan sported a striking monotone ensemble comprising high-rise wide-legged trousers with a red formal shirt-blouse. The top also boasted scarf detail around the neck. Keeping the monotone aesthetic intact, she rounded off the look with a pair of red heels.

She tied her hair in a sleek low ponytail and dainty golden earrings. Prince Harry, on the other hand, kept it classy in a crisp white shirt teamed with a navy blue suit.

Meghan and Harry travelled from London to the event by train. The couple is reportedly staying at the Frogmore Cottage in Windsor.
