Man hanging from flying chopper: Execution by Taliban or something else?

A video showing a helicopter flying over Kandahar with a man hanging from a rope below emerged on the Internet. But do we know for sure that the man in the video was dead?

On August 30, a video showing a helicopter flying over Kandahar in Afghanistan with a man hanging from a rope below emerged on the Internet. It was shared by several people on social media with the claim that the Taliban killed a man and hung him from a US military helicopter. If this is what it looks like the Taliban hanging somebody from an American Blackhawk I could vomit.
