
Man brutally kills 19-year-old girl in Vadodara, arrested

Gujarat Police arrested a man for brutally killing a 19-year-old girl in Vadodara.
A 23-year-old man was arrested by Gujarat Police for murdering a 19-year-old girl in Vadodara. The police found the body with multiple injuries on Tuesday night.The girl, identified as Trusha Solanki, bore severe injuries on her body as she was stabbed multiple times with a sharp object. The attacker also dismembered one of her hands, which was found lying near her body, said the police.
“We recovered an Aadhaar card through which we identified the victim”, said the police.

Based on ground intelligence, CCTV footage and human resources, the Vadodara crime branch arrested the accused, Kalpesh Thakor, within a few hours of the murder.
According to Vadodara crime branch police inspector RA Jadeja, Solanki had shifted to Vadodara a few months ago to get herself enrolled in Gujarat police recruitment coaching classes. The police officials said that Solanki knew the accused for the last three years. Thakor wanted Solanki to have a friendship with her, which Solanki had refused. After that, the accused decided to kill Solanki and took her to an isolated place.
After committing the crime, the accused escaped from the spot but was later nabbed by the police.

He was allegedly threatened with his life over the delay in repayment. Fearing for his life, Sachin immediately alerted the police.
