Malaysia Airlines increases flights between Thiruvananthapuram and Kuala Lumpur, benefiting passengers traveling to Australia, New Zealand, and Southeast Asia.
Malaysia Airlines has increased frequency between Thiruvananthapuram and Kuala Lumpur. The airline has added a flight on Saturdays in addition to the existing services on Sundays, Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. It will arrive in Thiruvananthapuram International Airport at 12.30 a.m. and depart for Kuala Lumpur at 1.20 a.m.
This service will also benefit passengers travelling to Australia and New Zealand in addition to southeast Asian countries, said a statement from the airport.

The U.S. has launched two investigations under Section 301 of the Trade Act of 1974 against India and other economies to examine practices that may be ‘unreasonable or discriminatory and burden or restrict U.S. commerce’. One probe examines whether countries, including India, are using excess manufacturing capacity to export to the U.S. in a manner that hurts American businesses, while another looks at whether countries have taken ‘sufficient steps’ to prohibit imports of goods produced with forced labour.
