Maharashtra government issues SOPs for theatres: 50% occupancy, no food, drinks allowed

The Maharashtra government has released the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for auditorium, multiplexes and cinema halls. They will reopen from October 22.

The Maharashtra government on Tuesday, October 12, released Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for auditorium, multiplexes and cinema halls. They will reopen from October 22. Cinema halls were shut down completely from mid-March 2020, due to the Covid-19 pandemic. It reopened for a few months in October and November last year in different parts of the country.
