
Maha Shivaratri: Bhatti and his wife perform special puja at Mrityunjaya Swamy temple for State’s prosperity

Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka offers special prayers at the Sri Mrityunjaya Swamy temple in Madhira, Khammam, on Maha Shivaratri for the prosperity of the State.
Invoking the divine blessings of Lord Shiva for the prosperity of the State and the well-being of its people, Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka on Sunday offered special prayers at the Sri Mrityunjaya Swamy temple in Madhira on the occasion of Maha Shivaratri.
Mr. Vikramarka, accompanied by his wife Nandini, performed a special archana in the name of Chief Minister A.Revanth Reddy and members of the State Cabinet for their good health and longevity at the temple on the occasion.
The couple also performed rudrabhishekam to the presiding deity.
Elsewhere in Khammam district, devotees thronged Shiva temples, including the two ancient temples of the Kakatiya-era in Kusumanchi. The three-day annual Maha Shivaratri jatara began at Teerthala, the abode of Lord Sangameswara, in Khammam rural mandal on Sunday.
