A leopard entered a house in Meerut on Friday morning, after which the police and forest department teams swung into action to catch the wild animal.
A leopard entered a house in the Pallavapuram area of Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, on Friday morning, after which the police and forest department teams swung into action to catch the wild animal.
They quickly took hold of it and were seen diverting the leopard away from the house.
However, it escaped from the net, jumped onto the road and ran adrift. Efforts are still on to find the leopard in the area.
The people of the house where the wild animal was spotted said that the leopard stayed in their house for about 2 hours and there was constant panic.
