Leave Babar Azam alone: Pakistan captain not worried after poor Big Bash league stint
India Today
Salman Ali Agha admitted that he is not worried about Babar Azam's form and wants the people to leave him alone after his poor stint in the BBL.
Pakistan's T20I captain, Salman Ali Agha, asked the media to leave Babar Azam alone as the pressure mounts on the star batter following his disastrous stint at the Big Bash League.
Speaking at the press conference ahead of the T20I series against Australia, Agha talked about how he was frustrated by how all the questions were on Babar Azam and not on the other players. He even suggested that the media leave him alone.
"My only wish is that one day I come to a press conference and there are no questions about Babar. I mean, there are eleven, or rather fourteen, other people in the team, other batsmen; think about them too, talk about them too," Salman Ali Agha said.

"Leave him alone, let him bat. He was batting well. You can say that in the Big Bash, he couldn't perform the way his team expected him to. But for us, he's performing very well. I think he's fulfilling his role very well, and that's all that matters to me now. What happened in the Big Bash doesn't matter to me at all," he added.
In the 11 games he played for the Sydney Sixers while opening the batting, he only managed to score 202 runs at an average of 22.44 and a strike-rate of 103.06, a scoring rate that is well below par for current T20I standards.
