
Lawyer dies after setting himself ablaze in Rajasthan’s Sikar court

The Sub Divisional Magistrate tried to douse the fire but failed in the attempt.
Nearby people took both the lawyer and the SDM to the hospital. The doctors said that the lawyer was in a critical condition when he arrived in hospital.
Around 7:00 pm last evening, the lawyer died during treatment. The body was sent for a post-mortem examination.
Ratan Lal Bhargava, Additional Superintendent of Police said, ‘’On Thursday around 2:30 pm, lawyer Hansraj Mavaliya set himself on fire. The SDM and the people around tried to save him but failed. In dousing the fire. Lawyer Hansraj Mavaliya died during treatment in Jaipur.’’
There was a lot of outrage among the advocates regarding the incident. Advocates will sit in protest demanding action on SDM.
