India Today TV has exclusively accessed the FIR filed in connection with the shooting, which details how a gunman fired multiple rounds towards the building where Shetty lives.
The complaint was lodged by his bodyguard, Swapnil Salunkhe, 31, who was on duty at the time of the incident.
According to investigators, the Anti-Extortion Cell of the Mumbai Crime Branch arrested four people from Pune on Monday evening for allegedly assisting the shooter and arranging a two-wheeler used in the crime.
Police have identified one of the wanted accused as Shubham Lonkar, said to be linked to the Bishnoi gang, while the shooter remains unidentified.
In his statement to police, Salunkhe said he was monitoring CCTV footage in the lobby of Shetty Towers around 12.45 am on Sunday when he heard a sound resembling a firecracker.
