Yogi Adityanath’s government will complete 100 days of its second term on July 5. Here is a look at the work done by the state government towards improving the law and order situation.
Yogi Adityanath’s government in Uttar Pradesh, which took oath on March 25, is going to complete 100 days of its second term on July 5. During this period, the chief minister took several measures, including the decision to provide free rations and organising a ground-breaking ceremony to bring investment in the state.
However, in the first term, the Yogi government’s main agenda was to improve the law and order situation in the state. The government completed its five-year tenure by cracking down on criminals and razing illegal properties of mafias.

A prominent seer, Pranavananda Swamiji, alleged that mutts backing Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar to take over the top post were denied any allocation in the state budget presented by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. He reiterated his support for Shivakumar to take over as the chief minister.

According to the police, 19-year-old Sachin Dharmendrabhai Chaudhary, who works as a labourer, had borrowed the money before expressing his inability to repay it immediately, police said. He was allegedly threatened with his life over the delay in repayment. Fearing for his life, Sachin immediately alerted the police.
