Since the last few days, Amitabh Bachchan has been promoting his son Abhishek Bachchan's film, Dasvi, which has released today in cinemas. The senior actor recently hit back at trolls who questioned why he promoted Dasvi.

Abhishek Bachchan had been promoting his film Dasvi with his co-stars Nimrat Kaur and Yami Gautam. At the same time, the actor's father and megastar Amitabh Bachchan was busy promoting Dasvi on social media. Right from sharing the trailer of the film to the character posters, Big B did everything in his right to promote Dasvi. The film was released today, April 7, on Jio Cinema and Netflix. A day before the film's release, Amitabh Bachchan hit back at trolls who questioned why he promoted Dasvi.

Amitabh Bachchan started promoting Dasvi by sharing the trailer of the film. While sharing it, Big B officially declared that son Abhishek is his 'uttaradhikari'. Later, he shared his thoughts on the songs of Dasvi via his Twitter handle. When fans started the countdown to Dasvi's release, Sr Bachchan also expressed his excitement.

And when the trolls questioned why he went all out to promote his son's film, Amitabh Bachchan hit back at them with a tweet. Taking to his official Twitter handle, Big B wrote, "Ji haan huzoor main karta hu: badhai, prachar, mangalachar. Kya kar loge? (Yes sir, I do share congratulations, promotions, invocations!!! What will you do)? (sic)."
