The reality star also revealed how she became "more intentional" before welcoming her daughter, Penelope.
Kourtney Kardashian Barker is getting candid about the struggles she faced when she entered motherhood at 30.
During the latest episode of “The Kardashians,” the reality star, 46, said she didn’t feel like she had any guidance before giving birth to her eldest son, Mason, who is now 15.
“When I was 30, and I had Mason, nobody told me what to do, I didn’t read any books, but the way that I felt, my maternal instinct, was to do attachment parenting,” the mom of four said in a confessional.
Kardashian Barker said she became “more intentional” before her daughter, Penelope, was born in 2012.
“Before I had Penelope, though, I read the attachment parenting book, and it was more intentional,” she shared during the Nov. 27 episode. “And even though I was working, I didn’t really think it was an option to not work. Now, I have the option not to work, and I feel grateful to be able to find what I connect to.”
