A Calcutta High Court lawyer has been arrested by the Kolkata Police for impersonating a CBI official.
A Calcutta High Court lawyer, Sanatan Ray Chowdhari, was arrested by the Kolkata Police on Tuesday over allegations of forgery, impersonation of public servant, and criminal conspiracy with others for land and a building under Gariahat Police Station area. The accused used to travel in a car with a blue beacon and identified himself as the Standing Counsel of the West Bengal Government.
