Kolkata: Man shot dead over argument during Holi celebrations

A man was shot dead in Kolkata's Regent Park area during an argument with one of his associates on Friday.

As per the sources, a scuffle broke out between the two associates, Dilip Chauhan and Sujit Mulik, after they attended a Holi party.
The incident took place when Sujit, the accused, raised objections after Dilip wanted to play Holi with the former’s wife.
Following the tussle, the two men along with their other two associates sat down to consume alcohol the same afternoon. As per the sources, it was during that time that Mulik took out a handgun and shot Chauhan.
Chauhan was immediately rushed to the state SSKM hospital where he was declared brought dead.
Sujit Mulik is absconding and a search is on to nab him.
