
Kerala Police initiates probe over complaint filed by CEO’s office alleging leak of electoral roll data

The Kerala Police have launched a probe into the alleged leak of electoral roll data after a complaint was filed by the office of the Chief Electoral Officer (CEO).
The Crime Branch wing of the Kerala Police has registered an FIR and initiated a probe over a complaint filed by the office of the Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) here alleging leak of electoral roll data. The complaint was filed by the CEO office alleging that the computer in the office was "hacked" and the data of electors were leaked.
A prominent seer, Pranavananda Swamiji, alleged that mutts backing Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar to take over the top post were denied any allocation in the state budget presented by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. He reiterated his support for Shivakumar to take over as the chief minister.

He was allegedly threatened with his life over the delay in repayment. Fearing for his life, Sachin immediately alerted the police.
