
Kerala likely to witness heavy rain, thunderstorm till April 14

According to IMD forecast, Kerala is likely to receive heavy rainfall till April 14. IMD has also predicted the possibility of heavy winds.
Kerala is likely to receive heavy rainfall accompanied by lightning and thunderstorms till April 14, according to the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD). Isolated heavy rainfall is likely over Kerala on April 11, 13 and 14.
A yellow alert has been issued for Pathanamthitta and Idukki districts on April 13 (Wednesday), and for Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, and Pathanamthitta districts on April 14 (Thursday). The agency has also predicted the possibility of heavy wind.
The report issued by IMD also suggests the possibility of light but widespread rainfall accompanied by thunderstorm and lightning in Kerala-Mahe during the next 5 days.
