Kerala HC grants bail to accused in models' accidental death case

Accused Saiju Thankachan, a Kochi-based interior designer, had allegedly chased the car that met with an accident.

Kerala High Court has granted bail to Saiju Thankachan who was arrested for his involvement in the accidental death of three persons, including two models, in Kochi last year.

Thankachan, a Kochi-based interior designer, had allegedly chased the car that met with an accident. Two models, 25-year-old Ancy Kabeer, and 24-year-old Anjana Shajan, were travelling in that car and died in the fatal crash on November 1, 2021. Their friend succumbed to injuries a few days later.
