Kerala dowry case: Govt dismisses accused husband from state services

The Kerala government has dismissed a man from state services after he was accused in a dowry-related case after his wife was found hanging in their Kollam-district home on June 21. 

The Kerala government has dismissed Kiran Kumar, accused in a dowry death case, where a 24-year-old woman was found dead inside her house at Sasthamcotta in Kerala's Kollam district on June 21. Kiran was an assistant motor vehicle Inspector (AMVI). The family members of Vismaya alleged her husband, Kiran, was torturing her.
