KBC 14 Episode 15 Written Update: Big B recalls the time his childhood music teacher shouted at him

In the August 25 episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati 14, Amitabh Bachchan opened up about his childhood days. The actor recalled the time he was scolded by his classical singing teacher.

Amitabh Bachchan began the August 25 episode of Kaum Banega Crorepati 14 by welcoming rollover contestant Prashant Sharma. Amitabh Bachchan shared on the show that as a kid he learnt music. However, when he went for the test and the teacher asked him to sing a raag, he could not and was scolded a lot. Prashant won Rs 25 lakh on the show, while Vijay Gupta, who took the hotseat after him, took home Rs 10,000.

Before beginning the game, Amitabh Bachchan said, “During my childhood, my parents wanted me to learn new things. So my mother asked me to learn singing. A classical singer teacher used to come to my house with the harmonium peti and would teach me pa da ni sa I learned it for 1 to 2 months and after that, my teacher asked me to go for a singing test. There were many people who were performing there. The teacher asked me to perform a raag and I couldn’t open my mouth. My teacher Pathak ji shouted at me so much and left.”

KBC 14 premiered on Sunday, August 7. The first episode witnessed Big B welcoming eminent celebrities, who took over the hotseat and played the game. Those who graced the show as special guests included Aamir Khan, sports icons like Mary Kom and Sunil Chhetri, along with India's first Blade Runner, Major DP Singh, and Mithali Madhumita, the first female officer to win the Gallantry Award.
