The centre is considering reopening the Kartarpur Corridor between India and Pakistan. Sources have confirmed to India Today that authorities are mulling this decision and the final call will be taken by the Ministry of Home Affairs after a thorough assessment of the security situation.
While the Kartarpur corridor was shut down in March 2020 in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic, India had been raising concerns regarding misuse of the corridor by Khalistani elements since the time of its opening in 2019.
