
Karnataka government approves setting up residential schools for children of construction workers in 31 districts

Each school would have one room each for every class, rooms for laboratory, library, multi-tasking, sports, and an office. They would also have separate hostel buildings for boys and girls, a dining hall, kitchen, residential quarters for teachers, compound wall, along with necessary furniture and other equipment. Each residential school would come up on 83,073 sqft area (close to 2 acres), the Board told the government.
