The organization will have to show the ownership documents and map within 15 days. After that further action will be taken in the matter, as per officials.
KDA has issued notice regarding the five-storey construction of the new Dawat-e-Islami building at Chhote Miyan Ka Hata on Thursday.
The building was built this year in Gammu Khan Ka Hata, located in the Colonelganj area. It should be noted that the accused who killed Hindu tailor Kanhaiyalal in Jodhpur was associated with the Dawat-e-Islami organization, the office of which runs in this five-storey building which has been constructed illegally, as per officials.
The action on the illegal construction can range from sealing to demolition.
KDA Special Officer Avnish Singh told India Today that a notice has been issued regarding the construction. Information about its ownership, maps etc. has been sought from the people occupying the building within 15 days.
Documents submitted in response to the notice will be scrutinized. Even if the documents are not provided, the inquiry will be conducted as per the rules and action will be taken on the basis of the inquiry report.
