
Kamal Hassan criticises increase in prices of fuel, LPG

Makkal Needhi Maiyam chief and popular actor Kamal Hassan has hit out at the government for increasing the price of fuel and LPG after the elections have ended. He said that the blame will be thrown on the increase in crude oil prices.
Popular actor and Makkal Needhi Mayam chief, Kamal Haasan, has criticised the hike in fuel and LPG prices which have taken place in the last two days. In his statement, Kamal said that now that the state elections are over, the reality has been revealed.
He stated that, “As elections are over, true forms are being revealed as fuel price and LPG price are being increased.” The popular actor took to Twitter to share his comments on the increase in petrol and diesel prices.
The actor also stated that the blame will be thrown on the increase in crude oil prices.

He further questioned why the government did not reduce the price when it went down and further asked whether lakhs of crores can be added to it and fix it now.

A prominent seer, Pranavananda Swamiji, alleged that mutts backing Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar to take over the top post were denied any allocation in the state budget presented by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. He reiterated his support for Shivakumar to take over as the chief minister.
