Senior IAS officer K. Vijayanand assumed charge as Ex-Officio Special Chief Secretary to the Chief Minister at the Secretariat on Monday, days after demitting office as Chief Secretary on February 28. Vedic scholars from Sri Durga Malleswara Swamy Varla Devasthanam and Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams offered traditional blessings on the occasion.
