
JPC to discuss draft report on Nov 22, Personal Data Protection Bill likely to be tabled in Winter session

A Joint Parliamentary Committee is set to take up the draft report on the Personal Data Protection (PDP) Bill on November 22. Sources told India Today that Opposition MPs have expressed reservations about last-minute amendments to the report proposed by the committee chairperson.
A draft report on the Personal Data Protection (PDP) Bill by a Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC) has run into delays yet again with the JPC's chairperson proposing further amendments to the report.
The next meeting for the adoption of the draft report has now been scheduled for November 22.
