Jobless Bengali TV actor in Kolkata livestreams suicide bid, cops save him

Unemployed due to the Covid-19 lockdown, a Bengali TV actor tried to kill himself by overdosing on sleeping pills. However, the police tracked him down and saved him.

Depressed over being unemployed due to the coronavirus pandemic led lockdown, a Bengali television actor attempted to kill himself by overdosing on sleeping pills. He also livestreamed the incident which helped the police to track him down and save him. The 31-year-old actor consumed an entire strip of sleeping pills while doing a Facebook live. A person who got the live link from someone immediately informed the police.
