‘Jo ukhadna hai, ukhad lo’: TMC MP Abhishek Banerjee after being questioned by ED

After being grilled by the ED for more than eight hours, TMC MP Abhishek Banerjee said the BJP wants to misuse investigative agencies but he wouldn't bow down to "these autocrats".

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee’s nephew Abhishek Banerjee was grilled for more than eight hours by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Monday in connection with an alleged coal smuggling case. After the questioning, Abhishek Banerjee targeted the Centre and said, “Jo ukhadna hai, ukhad lo (do whatever you want) but we won’t be scared. I was questioned for eight hours and I answered all the questions. ED is doing its work and I extended my full cooperation. But if the BJP wants to misuse CBI and ED, then let me tell you, I will die but won’t bow down against these autocrats.”
