Jimmy Kimmel Burns Trump With An Absolutely Historic Reminder

The late night host showed the president some awkward footage of a key ally.
Jimmy Kimmel on Thursday gave President Donald Trump a lesson in recent history ― and he did so in a backhanded response to FCC Chair Brendan Carr, a key MAGA ally.
Kimmel was briefly pulled off the air last year after threats by Carr, who was appointed to his position by Trump, over comments he made about the suspect in the killing of conservative activist Charlie Kirk.
Now, Carr is urging broadcasters to run content that “promotes civic education, national pride and our shared history.”
Kimmel said he’s ready to help.
“Even though he tried to get me fired, I have taken the commissioner’s words to heart,” Kimmel said, then introduced his latest “This Day In American History” segment.
