Jharkhand govt reserves 75% of private sector jobs for local people

Chief Minister Hemant Soren announced it during the Budget Session of the state’s Legislative Assembly. His Cabinet had cleared the policy on March 12.  

The Jharkhand government on Monday announced its decision to reserve 75% of jobs in the private sector for local people. Chief Minister Hemant Soren announced it during the Budget Session of the state’s Legislative Assembly. His Cabinet had cleared the policy on March 12. The Chief Minister has asked officers to ensure private companies don't have any issue with the policy.
