Veteran actress Jaya Prada will be a special guest on Indian Idol 12 this weekend. From performing with the contestants on stage to sharing some anecdotes about her life, Jaya will be entertaining the audience with her charisma on screen. In the episode, Jaya will be sharing her journey from her first film to becoming an overnight star. The actress will also talk about her bond with Sridevi and how they didn’t connect emotionally even after giving some huge box office hits with legendary actors like Amitabh Bachchan, Rajesh Khanna, Jeetendra and Jackie Shroff among others. The actress was given a warm welcome on the show by the contestants, host Jay Bhanushali and judges Vishal Dadlani and Himesh Reshammiya. Recalling her bond with Sridevi, Jaya Prada said, "It's never been that we had any personal grudge against each other but it is just that our chemistry never matched. We never made eye contact with each other even after being perfect sisters on screen. We both competed with each other - be it dresses or dance. Every single time we met, the directors or the actors used to introduce us on set and to which, we would greet each other and move ahead."
