Lyricist Javed Akhtar on Thursday appealed to former First Lady of the United States Michelle Obama to "return to the White House".
Bollywood lyricist Javed Akhtar on Thursday made an appeal to former First Lady of the United States Michelle Obama to trace a path back to the White House. “Madame please take my words seriously; not only the US, but the world needs you in White House. You shouldn’t shrug off this responsibility,” he replied to a tweet by Michelle Obama.

Michelle Obama took to Twitter to announce her ‘The Light We Carry’ tour, during which she will share her personal stories. The tour will cover Washington DC, Philadelphia, Atlanta, Chicago, San Francisco, and Los Angeles. The tour will be moderated in different states by celebrity hosts like Ellen Degeneres, Gayle King, Elizabeth Alexander, Conan OBrien, among others.
Michelle Obama moved out of the White House in January 2017 along with her husband, former US President Barack Obama, after his second term in the Oval Office ended. She is the first African-American woman to hold the First Lady of the United States post.

A prominent seer, Pranavananda Swamiji, alleged that mutts backing Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar to take over the top post were denied any allocation in the state budget presented by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. He reiterated his support for Shivakumar to take over as the chief minister.

He was allegedly threatened with his life over the delay in repayment. Fearing for his life, Sachin immediately alerted the police.
